The Crisalus Language Lounge is the perfect way to improve language skills, meet new people and relax in a social setting. Held on Wednesday evenings, the Language Lounge is really a large conversation class that offers different accents, expressions and personalities - things you don't normally find in a run-of-the-mill language school or training class. Grab your complimentary refreshment and join the marathon sessions to loosen the tongue and tune the ear. Here's how it works:
The Language Lounge follows the format of speed-dating or speed-networking, where participants are given a certain period of time to exchange information with each other. Guests are paired, and we try to maintain an equal number of English speakers for the number of Spanish speakers present during the session. The timer will allow a set period of time to loosen the tongue, or speak in one language - either Spanish or English. When the bell rings, it's time to change languages and tune the ear, where both participants will then speak in the other language. Simple and fun! www.crisalus.com/language.html
